New punching device for micro cones
The so-called micro cones are only 40 to 45 mm in size and resemble a delicious ice-cream cone filled with chocolate. WALTER's R&D department has developed a corresponding component for the growing market, with which the wafers are shortened with minimal waste. The products look like the broken-off tip of an ice-cream cone.
The wafer cone was long regarded as a classic product for ice cream, but it is now also finding its way into the confectionery sector. The combination of chocolate and crunchy sweet wafer is becoming increasingly popular. An already established and popular product are the so-called mini cones, 60 to 65 mm small wafer cones that are filled with chocolate. However, ice-cream cone tips are now also increasingly in demand for filling - the micro cones.
The so-called micro cones are only 40 to 45 mm in size and can be handed over in an orderly fashion for filling. To make them look like the broken-off tip of the ice-cream cone, WALTER has developed its own component for shortening the cone. The advantage of this product over the previous Mini Cones sold individually is that it is sold as a bulk product for snacking in a stand-up pouch.
